Aqsa Khan Sadiq is a UK trained qualified Solicitor of England and Wales. She has graduated from Queen Mary, University of London. Aqsa completed her training in-house and qualified as a Solicitor in 2013. She is an Employment Associate at Taylor Wessing (Middle East) LLP Dubai branch.

Aqsa advises on both DIFC employment and UAE Labour Law contentious and non-contentious matters. Aqsa’s contentious employment work includes handling arbitrary dismissal claims, dealing with redundancy/ restructuring, advice on disciplinary hearings and sanctions and advising on DIFC employment law litigation.

In terms of her non-contentious employment work, Aqsa assists clients with drafting staff handbooks, employment contracts for both onshore and freezone employers, HR policies and Settlement Agreements upon the termination of an employee’s employment.

Aqsa also regularly assists corporate clients with their Immigration Law requirements by advising on the different types of sponsorship arrangements both on shore and within the freezones. In addition, Aqsa hasl iaised and collaborated with external law firms to ascertain employment immigration requirements in the MENA region.

Abeer is a Senior Manager at Fragomen’s Dubai office, where she has been a member of the team for nine years. Abeer has extensive expertise is in various jurisdictions and assists clients based in the Middle east and North Africa with their immigration and compliance needs.

She assists clients from a variety of industries, including construction, information technology, media, oil and gas, and Finance. She focuses on corporate outsourced migration programmes and advises clients on the design and implementation of related business processes, tailored to immigration requirements and best practices.

In addition, Abeer has managed the immigration side of high and medium volume projects involving mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs and other types of corporate restructuring activities.
