Dr. Lena El-Malak is the Lead Commercial Attorney at Microsoft Gulf. She is a US qualified attorney and has in-house counsel experience in e-commerce and the tech industry, as well as experience working in the not-for-profit sector in the Middle East. Lena holds a Bachelor of Civil (BCL) and a Bachelor of Common Law (LLB) from McGill University in Canada and a Masters (LLM) and PhD in Public International Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

Ricardo Christie is a New York qualified commercial attorney working for Microsoft covering the Multi-Country Cluster subsidiary within MEA. He has experience advising on transactional services and license agreements within MEA with a focus on data protection and privacy in the Cloud.

Erica Crosland is a Senior Associate at Eversheds Sutherland in Dubai. She qualified in London but has spent nearly five years in Dubai where she predominantly works on data and emerging technology projects. Erica is a big supporter of technology for the legal sector and she regularly works with organisations and in-house legal teams on digital transformation projects. Erica has an BSc in Economics and International Financial markets, GDL/LPC in Law and is currently studying towards a MSc in Data Science.
