Dermot Flanagan | Bar of Ireland

Dermot Flanagan FCIArb, S.C has been in practice as a Barrister since 1987 and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2000. Mr. Flanagan is a qualified and practising mediator and arbitrator. As Counsel, he specializes in environmental, compulsory acquisition, planning and infrastructure law. He has very significant experience acting for public authorities in infrastructure projects including: roads, waste, ports, water, rail, airport, and Strategic Development Zones. He is currently preparing a text on the Law of Compulsory Acquisition.

Martin Hayden S.C | Bar of Ireland

Martin Hayden SC is a barrister in Dublin. He has a broad practice covering areas of Aviation Law, Banking Law, Tax Law, Commercial Law, Employment Law, Public Procurement Law and Competition Law. He has appeared regularly in the Superior Courts of Ireland and has also presented cases in the European Court of Justice. He has undertaken major planning inquiries; appearing on behalf of Ryanair in the oral hearings relating to the construction of Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport. Martin Hayden has a detailed and specialist knowledge of e-contracts in the context of the Aviation industry and regularly acts for the largest airline in Europe. He regularly acts for one of the largest Banks in Ireland and has also been heavily involved in financial litigation arising out of the economic collapse suffered in Ireland post-2008.

Karim J Nassif | LPA-CGR Avocats, Dubai

Karim Nassif is specialized in arbitration, corporate & commercial law, civil law, real estate and construction. He received an LLB and LLM (Hons) in Business Law and a diploma in law and IT from the University of Montpellier in France and a bachelor’s degree in Lebanese Law from the University of Lebanon. He is a member of the International Bar Association, a member of the IBA Arbitration Committee, Mediation Committee and Real Estate Committee and Legal Practice Division.  He is also a member of the LCIA Arab Forum & of ICC UAE Commission on Arbitration. He is an arbitrator listed with the Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Cairo, and Kuala Lumpur arbitration centre courts.

Arran Dowling-Hussey | Bar of Ireland

Arran Dowling-Hussey works as a Barrister from the Law Library, Dublin and from 33 Bedford Row chambers London. He is a qualified and practicing mediator and arbitrator and is presently sitting in disputes in the GCC area. He co-wrote Arbitration Law which was previously published by Thomson Round Hall in 2008 and 2014 and has been recently been published this year in its third edition. Mr. Dowling-Hussey is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and is a former member of their Board of Management.
