The Academy of Law in collaboration with Outer Temple Chambers and Middlesex University presents this 36-hour training on Common Law Advocacy Skills. Advocacy is how lawyers put their client’s case to the court requiring both oral and written skills. This course aims to train legal practitioners to address the court persuasively, concisely and how to present their cases in a clear, well organised and efficient manner. This comprehensive training explores the application of traditional advocacy skills to activities routinely performed by lawyers. It covers basic and advanced advocacy and legal drafting skills ideal for beginner and intermediate levels.
