DIFC Academy

Advanced Advocacy Skills course is part of the DIFC Laws Certificate Programme 2025. This course will be presented by KCs and Barristers of Outer Temple Chambers in association with the DIFC Courts.  This comprehensive training explores the application of traditional advocacy skills to activities routinely performed by lawyers. There will be series of both unassessed and assessed advocacy exercises. These exercises take the form of mock hearings covering submissions (written and oral), witness handling and general advocacy tips. They serve as useful refreshers for courtroom skills.

Special Concession

The below sessions can be taken as elective sessions of the Advanced Advocacy Module:

  • Advocacy Basics: 5pm - 7pm on 14 July and 30 July 2025 (4 hours) | Online via Teams
  • Legal Drafting Skills: 5pm - 7pm from 21 July to 29 July 2025 (16 hours) | Online via Teams

Should the student's enrollment be after the above sessions, the participant may request access to the course materials and recordings of the above sessions that will be available on the DIFC Academy's LMS.
