At a time where AI is transforming entire industries, leaders must navigate complex challenges and harness technology more effectively and urgently than ever before. This five-session, ten-hour program introduces practical tools and frameworks for leadership challenges that arise in today's complex business environments. Participants will learn to leverage AI alongside human systems to create competitive advantages. We examine what it takes for a leader to manage dynamic change, nurture ethical and effective AI-enabled teams, and to build an adaptable learning organization. Examples are drawn from case studies as well as  participants’ own professional experiences.

Class meetings are conducted in a proprietary virtual classroom, Forum, which enables fully interactive learning, with instructor-led sessions designed based on principles from the science of learning. By applying new approaches and insights to their work while taking the course, participants gain an immediate and applied understanding of how to harness the power of AI alongside the power of their team(s) for their organizations to thrive today and in the future.

Learning Outcomes:

Success in an AI-enabled world requires durable, transferable skills, which are adaptive abilities that apply across industries and challenges. This program focuses on relevant skills, not just knowledge, ensuring participants can apply what they learn to lead teams, navigate complexity, and make informed, ethical decisions in an AI-enabled world. This course will introduce and reinforce the following durable and transferable skills:

  • #systemsthinking: Distinguish the characteristic behaviors of different kinds of systems and apply this knowledge to solve problems and interact effectively.
  • #purpose: Identify and evaluate underlying goals and the values on which they are based, as well as the guiding principles that determine how an individual or group will try to attain these goals.
  • #leadprinciples: Apply principles of effective leadership.
  • #cognitivebias: Identify and explain how biases result from psychological mechanisms.
  • #ethicalframing: Evaluate ethical problems, framing them in a way that will help to resolve them.
