19 students successfully completed their certification course in Common Law and DIFC Courts Practice at the DIFC Academy of Law. This 7-month programme aims to help prepare Emirati advocates and other civil law trained lawyers for practicing before the DIFC Courts. This initiative is in furtherance of our mission of preparing lawyers in the Middle East for international commercial law practice, and our strategic objective of providing legal education with global value by cross-training learners in multiple legal systems. The DIFC Academy of Law brought this program in collaboration with Middlesex University Dubai and Outer Temple Chambers London. The Academy of Law would like to acknowledge participation of esteemed speakers from distinguished global legal firms in making this first ever programme in the region a huge success.
