Professor Nirmal Chhabria is a Professor of Practice and Academic Director at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business (Dubai), where he teaches Finance, Accounting, Mergers & Acquisitions, Entrepreneurial Finance, and Venture Capital to EMBA and MBA cohorts.
Nirmal brings over 22 years of experience spanning C-suite leadership, international trade, turnaround, and M&A—across institutions including HSBC, Atradius, AIG, Rio Tinto, Tata Group, British Steel, Alvarez & Marsal, the Welsh Government, and the CBI. But more importantly, he's sat on every side of the deal table. Buy-side acquisitions. Fundraising and capital structuring. Deal execution and close. Post-acquisition turnarounds as an operator inside the acquired asset. He's seen transactions from the boardroom, the war room, and the integration trenches.
