Nicky is a senior associate in the UAE finance practice. She has been based in the UAE for three years. She trained with Clifford Chance and qualified into the Restructuring and Insolvency Group within the London Finance practice. Nicky has a broad range of experience acting for companies, banks and noteholders in both the UAE, the UK and elsewhere in distressed restructurings as well as on general financings. She has also provided advice in relation to a variety of insolvency processes on both domestic and cross-border restructurings. She has written articles and spoken at a number of conferences and events on a variety of restructuring and insolvency matters.
KATHERINE NIXON
Regional Head of Knowledge and Information, Middle East
CLIFFORD CHANCE
Katherine is the Regional Head of Knowledge & Information in the Middle East. She has been based in the UAE for seven years and joined Clifford Chance in June 2015. Before joining Clifford Chance, she trained and worked as a corporate transactional lawyer in London and Dubai. Katherine has substantial local law experience in UAE corporate and commercial matters. She has also worked closely with the Dubai Legal Affairs Department in delivering CLPD training on a range of local law topics.
