DIFC Academy in partnership with CANDRIAM and Hawkamah successfully delivered our first ESG Series for 2022 entitled, "A review of some recent studies around the impact of ESG on portfolio and company performance" happening on January 25, 2022.
The question of the financial impact of ESG has been a recurring subject of debate within the investment community for as long as ESG exists. Since 2015 we have witnessed an exponential growth in the number of academic studies investigating the relationship between ESG, corporate sustainability, corporate financial performance and investor returns. By some estimates there were as many published between 2015 and 2020 as before 2015.
